Mallika Mathur, a delhi-based designer, has her heels dug deep into fabrics like Benarasi, Muslin, Jamdani Kinkhab and Kadhuan since years. Being forms of textile revival her Mughal and jaal motifs in appliqué, antique embroidery and Jamdani beautifully showcase contemporary wearable art. These minimalistic straight lines and diaphanous swirls are justified by kora silk, lending an air of sensuality.
